3 on 3 Pond Hockey Tournament

XMAS "Drop n Shop" 3on3 SuperSeries Pond Hockey Tournament

3on3superseries_small

Back by popular demand and based off of the Summer 3on3 tourney, DSEHC is hosting a 3on3 SuperSeries Pond Hockey Tournament during Xmas break (21-23 Dec or 20-22 Dec - TBD) at the Squirt, Peewee and Bantam age groups (Mite TBD) in the AAA SuperSeries format (www.superseriesaaa.com). Depending on numbers, we will have 4-6 teams per age group and each team will receive 6 games.

This tournament will be cross-ice, which will allow players more touches with the puck. Cross ice hockey teaches players to make quicker decisions with the puck and teaches them how to play in smaller areas.

Some changes we will incorporate at XMAS based on feedback from the Summer 3on3

-           DSEHC will allow both teams and Individual Players to register for the tournament.
-           Periods lengths will be adjusted to be age specific
-           Rolling goalies for teams created by individual registrations - TBD
-           Refs will signal each and every score and scores will be displayed for each game and through-out the game using FLIP-A-SCORE SCOREBOARD
-           Each division will have a championship FINAL game
-           Better or more consistent refereeing :-)
-           Goalies are FREE to ensure they are registered early in the process
-           No more hassle with Jerseys sizes and last minute ordering – 3on3 SuperSeries “Pinnies” will be provided to teams on the ice before each game and returned after each game – one size fits all
-           2 games staggered over 3 days or 3 games over 2 days – TBD
-           Optional 45min Skills clinic between games given by DSEHC coaches - charge will apply per clinic - TBD
