The 98 Dallas Stars Elite Hockey Club (DSEHC) hosted it’s 2nd annual Super98 weekend of competitive 98AAA hockey. The tournament was a resounding success operated by the parents and planned well in advance. Every team was thrilled with the quality of the tournament and the hospitality of the DSEHC98 and what the facility offered.
Congratulations to the Florida Everblades (5th ranked) with a comeback victory over the St. Louis Blues (2nd ranked) in a 4-2 win for 1st place and our very own DSEHC98 (12th ranked) winning 3rd place with a solid effort in a 4-2 win over a very strong Wisconsin Fire (7th ranked).
We have set the bar for hosting Super98 tournaments and organizations from around the country are using the DSEHC98 Super98 as the template. In fact, because of the hard work of the team and parents, DSEHC98 have been granted the Super98 next year on two occasions – during New Years and during Pres day weekend. New Years is already full with a waiting list and only 3 spots left for Pres Day weekend!!
This year was a great year for the DSEHC98 team in terms of success on and off the rink. More importantly, we became a team not a bunch of individuals … We have a very strong parent group that respect and support each other and a coach with high standards and values that will that stop at nothing to do everything for his players…
Congratulations to Coach Jordan and players – Excellent job!!
