2019 Christmas Holiday Skill Development Camp is FULL

The Dallas Stars Elite will be hosting a Christmas Holiday Skill Development camp to help players get ready for the 2nd half of the season. Our coaching staff knows what it takes to prepare players at the highest level. Players spend a lot of time in season focusing on their team. This camp will provide intense on and off ice workouts each day allowing players to focus on themselves. Skill stations will provide players with more personalized training and higher # of reps.  There will be small area games each day as well.


Christmas Holiday Skill Development Camp Information:

  • Drills to improve player’s overall puck skills
  • Shooting and scoring drills
  • Fakes and how to be more deceptive in game situations
  • Puck protection
  • Tight turns and escapes with puck
  • 30 Minutes small area games and scrimmage per day
  • Stride work to increase power and recovery
  • Forward and Backwards crossovers
  • Improve players balance and weight transfer
  • Improve explosive quick starts
  • Over-speed Training
  • On Ice Conditioning 
  • Off-Ice Conditioning (Strength training, Core training, Agility, and Sprints)
  • Off-Ice Shooting and Stick-handling in Valley Ranch Shooting Room


Camp is Open to Travel Hockey Players Only. Players from All Travel Organizations are welcomed.

Thursday December 26 – Saturday December 28



On-Ice 10:00-11:00AM (Power-Skating and Skills)

Off-Ice 11:15-12:15PM (Shooting Room/Weight Room/Track)

On-Ice 12:45PM-2:00PM (Drills, Small Area Games, and Scrimmage)



On-Ice 11:30AM-12:30PM (Power Skating and Skills)

Off-Ice 12:45PM-1:45PM (Shooting Room/Weight Room/Track)

On-Ice 2:15PM-3:30PM (Drills, Small Area Games, and Scrimmage)
